Karena itulah, bagi mereka menerapkan syariat Islam secara kaffah dianggap sebagai solusi yang tepat. Radikalisasi yang tumbuh di kalangan muslim adalah efek domino dari kebobrokan sistem sosial masyarakat yang yang sudah tidak lagi mengindahkan moral dan peraturan agama. Itu sebabnya, mereka yakin bahwa Islam mampu menyelesaikan semua problem masyarakat agar menjadi lebih Islami; agar tidak ada KKN, agar pergaulan antar remaja lebih Islami, dan tidak ada lagi perilaku tidak bermoral di bumi Indonesia. Tentu saja, kalau dibentangkan, masih banyak alasan dan masalah yang membuat radikalisasi umat Islam itu terjadi.
